Patient Administrator - The City Hospital - Dubai

Requirements:

    Minimum Grade 12.
    Graduate with a tertiary diploma or degree will be an advantage.
    Previous experience in healthcare industry and customer relations.
    Experience in both reception and billing; in a hospital setting a definite plus.
    Familiarity with Medical Insurance policies is an advantage.
    Working experience in a computerized environment, particularly on Hospital Information Systems.
    Must be fluent in English.
    Fluency in Arabic and knowledge of medical terminology will be an advantage.
    Able to work different shift: morning, day, evening and/or night shifts.

Key Outputs:
    Clients are welcomed and received according to company procedure.
    Patient demographic data and accurate eligibility details collected and entered into system as per EHL standards.
    Patients are pre-admitted as per pre-admission procedure.
    Patients are informed of documentation required and relevant financial aspects, for admission.
    Relevant admission documents are obtained, processed and filed as per specifications.
    Patient needs and conditions are considered during admission process.
    Patients scheduled according to doctor availability and as per EHL standards.
    Bills, receipts and refunds are generated timely and accurately as per hospital policy.
    Cash is collected and remitted.
    Cash/credit summary and reports are generated on a daily basis.
    Patient accounts are updated daily.
    Patients are discharged as per procedure.
    Client expectations are met and quality client service principles are maintained.
    Patient information confidentiality is maintained.
