The Government of Pakistan has established Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) through merger of existing departments. The PBS requires the services of the following professionals, with minimum age of 45 years, in Pay Scale MP-ll for term appointment of four (4) years extendable for one additional term with the condition that they shall cease to hold office on attaining the age of sixty-five years or expiry of the tenure whichever is earlier.
Member Economic Statistics (Pay Scale MP-ll)
Member economic statistic is responsible for progam management of all aspects if economic statistics including industrial, services, and mining and energy, etc. the candidate will preferably:
· Have an advanced university degree in a relevant subject, such as economics, econometrics and statistics from an HEC of Pakistan recognized university, preferably from a leading international university.
· Have a sound understanding of economic statistics and various national and international economic issues.
· Have a minimum 15 years experience with at least five years in senior management position within an organization of significant size / importance.
