Responsible for effective implementation of corporate training and development strategies for functional areas optimising resources through efficient planning and quality control to support business goals. Working closely with senior business managers, the job holder will ensure that all L & D Solutions are aligned to desired business results, developed and delivered using global best practices, within set budget and quality frameworks.
Experience / Qualifications:
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
Specialization: In one of the following areas is preferred:Aviation / Business or HRD related field / Education/Training
Professional qualifications in HR (e.g. CIPD/City and Guilds), training, psychology or organisational development would be preferred.
A minimum of 10 years experience in area of specialisation, with experience in a managerial or consultancy capacity.
Thorough knowledge of learning and development processes and methodologies.
Experience of working in an environment aligned to international audit and regulatory requirements relevant to the area of specialisation.
Strong interpersonal skills and a cultural sensitivity to the local community would be critical for this role, together with the ability to influence diverse groups of people at all levels of the organisation and experience of developing relationships and managing learning and development projects with business managers.
Demonstrated experience and skills as a change agent, with a proven track record of successful change initiatives and a demonstrated tolerance for ambiguity in a dynamic business environment, where priorities may change due to new initiatives and where a flexible, adaptable and responsive approach is critical to success.
People management skills to be able to handle the diverse group of staff and conflict situations that could arise in the workplace and experience and qualifications in managing complex projects covering cross functional teams.
